I was in a mom group and you know how those are…I can spare you those details.

It was one of those “unpopular opinion” days and I decided to comment mine, which was: “there is no such thing as non-bionary (genderless), everyone has a gender” & another mom lost it. When I say lost it…I mean seriously, she crossed the line. ?

The mom who got upset over it said “doesn’t look like your kid is the smartest tool in the shed like its mom. Keep that helmet on it”.

Before I could even comment, admins has deleted her comment.

Needless to say, I left the group. To say I was furious is an understatement.

I was beyond livid.

First off, my kid is a boy not an it.

Second off, he is very smart and him wearing a helmet has NOTHING to to do with logic, which this lady clearly lacked.

Thirdly, he wears a helmet due to the shape of his head and its VERY COMMON.

This woman was a mother, whom decided to shame another mom and also mock and make fun of an infant. I was so disgusted.

You NEVER make fun of a child REGARDLESS of the situation.

For those whose child(ren) wears a helmet: your child is smart and adorable, don’t ever let someone tell you different.
