A short, quirkly fun list :
1) A positive mindset
2) A strong mug of Humour
3) A plate full of smiles
4) A bag full of laughs
5) A dish full of love
6) A bowl full of care
7) A strong cup of compassion
8) A baked dish of care, slightly over baked, if possible
9) All the above have to be sprinkled with a lot of friends and family time
10) Last but not the least sprinkled and garnished with a lot of prayers
11) A huge serving of “Me time” Which could be compensated for dessert
Always feel like something wonderful is going to happen.
Just spend time with you and discover the new “ you” . Unfortunately, for which we never had time for before. Stay blessed, stay smiling, and stay strong. Because there are paths yet to be discovered, and destinations yet to be traveled. And because there is so much more to be done. And so much more to be explored within you.
I’m a special educator. My journey takes me through the upheavals of my students lives. For them it is not an easy journey. Because sometimes they don’t see anything in front of then. Meaning, no path, no goal, and no future destination. Just a deep dark void. An empty, yearning tunnel.
I don’t know when our journeys started entwining. Maybe it was when I became their friend, counselor and confidante all rolled into one. One bright sunny morning 6 years back, the writer in me woke up from a deep slumber. I used to write in school and college for teenage and youth magazines. My articles got published too. Then there was a block for several years. I was so busy being a mother. In the process I forgot myself. And my writing slowly grew forward in its journey, taking me along in its wake. My dream of a blog was just waiting to happen and lo ad behold, it did happen. And it happened when there was chaos and turmoil everywhere. Yes! In the midst of the pandemic, my writing gave birth. Who knew I would be nurturing it like a newborn. And like a newborn, it keeps me busy. And I’m so glad that it was born. Because it doesn’t really matter when, but that it did.
One thing I realized was that even the most positive thing could be waiting to happen in your life , even in the midst of chaos. Yes, these current times are hard. And yes, some days can be very trying. And you may want to shout and scream. So what? Why not give into the urge? Who knows? Maybe that will bring you clarity. I’m based in India, And so many travel plans have gone amiss. But I always believed that something wonderful was in store for me.
Always believe good things are going to happen soon.
Lastly I would like to add “Hold tight, because our current time, it’s just a bend in the road. And not the end “
