The truth is being home alone with kids 27/4 is very lonely. Why?
Because you have no one to have REAL conversations with through the day. You’re always focused on kids’ things such as deciding what show to watch or making toys talk.
You crave adult interaction. Not just text interaction with your mom friends or family; REAL talking.
This craving makes you feel alone and forces you to doubt your self-worth. You stare out the window and wonder how can you escape.
Because the bottom line is it’s so lonely in a house with kids 24/7.
Look, I’m not saying we don’t like spending time with our kids and don’t feel grateful for having this opportunity. What I am saying is it’s overwhelmingly lonely at times.
Sometimes, you just want a real conversation. It’s only human nature. Everyone needs interaction, so why wouldn’t a mom need this too?
