Work has been my passion since I was young. Money was never my
motivation, living was. It just so happens that the only way to live is
to make money.
Growing up in a large family and watching my
father have various jobs taught me to be a fierce competitor who strives
to be the best.
On top of my various jobs, I’ve recently added a newborn. So what is it really like to date a hard-working mom?
“Love is Patient”
Dating
a hard-working mom means you will rarely see her. After the kids are in
bed, she’ll just want to curl up next to you and pop in a movie.
Sometimes the house won’t get cleaned for days and intimate moments are definitely hard to come by.
Sometimes the baby gets more attention than you do. Be patient.
If she doesn’t text you back right away, she’s probably taking a nap or cleaning spit up out of her hair (again.)
When you haven’t heard from her for days, it’s because she barely has time for herself.
Patience is key if you want to be with a working mom.
“Love is Kind”
No
matter what, she loves you with her whole heart – she wouldn’t waste
her limited time with you if she didn’t – she just loves working and her
children slightly more.
Working hard guarantees that at the end
of the day, she doesn’t need to rely on you to survive; you are simply
someone who makes her life better.
Working hard means that you
will never have to question her ability to live without you. Working
hard means that at the end of the day, she only wants to love and be
loved.
Dating a hard-working mom means making sacrifices,
fighting less, smiling more, and loving hard because, at the end of the
day, you’re the person she wants to see.
You may not
be her everything or be able to give her the world, but you don’t need
to. She can take care of herself and her kids.
She wants you
because you can show her what the world is like. You can help her stop
worrying for a second and show her love she never thought was possible.
So be patient. She married her work a long time before you walked into her life, but if you make sacrifices and keep her close she’ll be everything you need.
