6. But when you do need him, he’s always going to be there.
As much as you’d like to think that you’ve got it all, and, most of the time you do, there are those moments when nothing in the world will better a situation like your man will.
Remember that time you were stuck in the fetal position on the bathroom floor suffering from a deathly case of food poisoning?
He took, I’m okay, it’s no big deal, as, I don’t want to admit it, but I do, kinda… sorta… really fucking need you right now.
7. Stubbornness is one of the traits he loves most about you: he loves that you have a do-it-yourself attitude.
You know how to do things on your own, go places by yourself, and fix things that most girls don’t know how to fix.
So, when an obstacle comes your way making one of these things impossible for you to do, it’s not so easy for you to ask for help.
He’ll sit back, let you try, and won’t insist on giving you help. He finds it endearing when you’re stubborn.
8. But he doesn’t let it get in the way of him breaking down your walls: he knows when and when not to push.
He’ll know how to offer help without belittling you. But breaking down your walls emotionally runs a little deeper– plus, most guys don’t know how to do this with you.
Sometimes I got it, really straight up means I GOT IT. But other times, it doesn’t, and he’s learned to decode your cryptic-convoluted-female-language.
9. And he understands that being independent makes you an individual: you want to be your best self before you give everything to someone else.
Some girls started planning their wedding day at age seven. You were not one of them. In fact, your wedding isn’t really something that you daydream about all day long.
That doesn’t mean that it’s not in your future. And your guy understands that just because you’re not pawning after a man, designing an engagement right now, doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t one day want to wear a ring.
