.) A day out. Nothing says I love you more than giving Mom a chance to go out. On. Her. Own. No kids, no errands, just whatever. And don’t be afraid .. haha I am sure she’ll come back. Maybe she gets some gal pal time in or hits a fitness class. Whatever she chooses, she will be perfectly selfish for the day. Good for her!
.) Make her dinner! This is a great way to get the kids involved with meal prep too. And remember to do the dishes. Please..
.) Gift her a day at the spa, or set her up for an at home spa ritual. Maybe look at her products and see if she is running low on something and replenish it for her. Now that is thoughtful!
.) Plan an outing. Go ahead, pay extra for that sitter and take the mother of your children out on the town. She deserves it and its a great way to spice up the romance factor between you.
.) Take a family outing. Perhaps getting a sitter is a no go and the kids really do want to participate. Choose an outing that mom loves and make it a family affair. Make sure the kids behave and you keep their needs met. This way, Mom not only feels appreciated, but she can clearly see that her efforts are resulting.
.) And finally, just make the day to celebrate love! Whether its breakfast in bed or some lovely flowers or sweet gestures from her kids. Celebrate Mom and Valentine’s Day with love, love and more love.
XOXO
