When it comes to love, everything seems complicated. But when you’ve finally found the person who completes you, there will be nothing confusing about it. Everything will effortlessly fall into place, and you’ll just know.

 

1. His presence calms you. When it’s all you can do to keep yourself from falling apart, you hold onto the feeling that everything will be okay once you’re in his arms

 

2. Supportive and down to earth, he’ll help you move forward, but will always be there to humble you and remind you where you came from.

 

3. You realize that you stop thinking before speaking or acting, because when you’re with him, you’re simply yourself.

 

4. Nothing is ever TMI between the two of you.

 

5. When you help them with something, it doesn’t feel like a chore, work, or something you have to do. You just naturally want to help.

 

6. He encourages your weird sense of humor.

 

7. …And laugh at all your jokes, even the ones that no one else gets.

 

8. But he laughs with you, and never at you.

 

9. You start turning everything into a date. Have to run to the grocery store? He’ll come with you. Gotta do laundry? He’ll be there to lightheartedly throw mismatched socks at you.

 

10. You could spend any number of hours together and it would still seem like it’s not enough.

 

11. The amount of stuff you have in common would seem kinda crazy to you…

 

12. …if it didn’t make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, like you’ve known them forever.

 

13. You don’t lie to each other because neither of you could get away with it, and you’d never want to anyway.

 

14. They take your big dreams as seriously as you do. And you encourage theirs.

 

15. Ever since you met them, you cut out more of the bad habits and negative influences in your life.

 

 

16. When they’re hurt, you feel hurt too.

 

17. And their seeing them happy makes you second-hand happy.

 

18. They’re always curious to know more about you, even the things you hesitate to share.

 

19. Phone calls with them are like a glass of wine at the end of the day, completely necessary and always comforting.

 

20. The confusing parts of life seem clearer after you talk with them.

 

21. It feels as though you’re always discovering uncanny coincidences only shared with them.

 

22. They don’t judge you, even for that time you finished a whole bottle of wine by yourself and fell asleep right at the table.

 

23. They automatically understand why you made a mistake even before you explain it to them.

 

24. They’re all about tough love in the moments when you need a kick in the ass to get your shit together.

 

25. Even when they see you at your worst, they treat you like you’re the best.
